Job Description
HYBRID work location.
Provides financial services and resources at a corporate level, as needed to accomplish business plans and objectives of Elbit Systems of America by keeping abreast of the state-of-art in finance, government contracts, compliance, and information technology. This position will report to the ESA Corporate Controller and Treasurer.
This position will be responsible for financial services processes such as:
Executive Compensation
Purchase Price Allocations
Capital Negotiations
M&A Support
Transfer Pricing
Goodwill Analysis
Oversight for travel policy and associated processes/procedures
Oversight for expense reporting processes, procedures, and corporate credit cards.
Banking / Insurance provider relationships.
Letters of Credit / Bank Guarantees
Optimization of the OneERP system from the A/P, A/R perspective.
Recruit and retain staff with necessary expertise and experience.
Provide professional training to staff as required.
Keep abreast of the state-of-art in finance, government contracts, compliance, and information technology.
Create, maintain and continuously evolve finance organization, process and infrastructure needed for continuous improvement.
Adhere to internal and external standards and core values.
Provide constant, accurate communication to our customers on all Finance activities that affect them.
Other related duties as assigned by senior management.
Set financial functional performance standards and measurements.
Provide financial reporting to business units and functional department.
Support Risk Management (Insurance Programs) as required.
Consult with Human Resources on Salary and Employee Benefit programs
Support 401K, 409A and Defined Benefit Pension Plan management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance along with 5+ years of experience
In-depth knowledge of Accounting processes and Finance processes associated with a wide range of financial services.
Long range planning, forecast, AOP, and pricing experience.
Experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
Ability to design financial processes and metrics for appropriate functional units with Finance Department.
Overall mind set of continuous improvement.
Ability to manage and develop professional staff.
Experience in interpreting and presenting financial information to senior management.
Skilled in using financial data systems and specific software applications as required.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
