Job Description :
Benefits and Payroll Coordinator

$30.00 – $38.00/hr.

Fannin Street

Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Temporary Contract

Our client located near Fannin is seeking a Benefits Payroll Coordinator who can give support to management and staff by processing payroll, coordinating benefits, and employee relations. This is a temporary position with an immediate start.

Essential Functions:

Review employee timecards daily for accuracy and transmit timecards bi-weekly to payroll for processing
Prepare and maintain all employee personnel and payroll
Assist in the administration of annual benefits and performance evaluations
Assist employees with inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, personnel policies, or employment openings
Process all unemployment claims to TWC including hearings

Qualifications:

High school diploma is required, a college degree is preferred
Previous experience in Human Resource functions HR functions
Knowledge of various payroll systems
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organization and prioritizing skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
Understands the importance of confidentiality
