Full-time, on-site position located in DFW Metroplex (Arlington, TX).
As an Associate QA Analyst at Wonder Works Studio, you are passionate about game testing, problem-solving, and improving software/processes. This will take many forms, including testing features and releases, analyzing data from customer usage, and reviewing internal processes to look for room for improvement. Daily duties in QA will involve Defect/Bug testing, Regression testing, attending stand-up meetings, and helping to improve test cases. What you will do:

Share acquired project knowledge with fellow QA Analysts
Apply a proactive approach in the QA Process on a consistent level
Must be able to think outside the scope of the test plan when appropriate (ad hoc testing, documenting negative test cases, etc.)
Comprehend and execute assigned Test Plans
Report verified bugs and document them appropriately
General software testing and methodologies
Assure patches/updates, new builds, and shipped products are functional and operate as intended
Review and Document bug reports
Become proficient at the project(s) assigned

Who you are:

1+ years of experience in QA and in the gaming industry
Flexibility and adaptability are a must, as we have many games in production at all times and multiple live games that will need attention too.
Working knowledge of the software development process
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Strong desire to learn new methodologies and approaches to testing
Demonstrated proficiency with bug tracking software(s) like JIRA
