Job Description :
Job Title: Admissions Evaluation (Specific dedication to Outlier Applicants) TEMPDepartment: Marketing and Enrollment ManagementReports to: Articulation Officer and Lead of Admissions Evaluation. This position will report on an interim basis to the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Strategic InitiativesFLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Examines academic records and required documents of Outlier applicants to determine eligibility for admission to academic programs at GGU. Will act as GGU point of contact for questions and/or escalations regarding Outlier applicants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compares transcripts of courses with school entrance or degree requirements and prepares evaluation form, listing courses for graduation.
Studies course prerequisites, degree equivalents, and accreditation of prior schools, and computes grade point averages to establish students’ qualifications for admission.
Interprets and applies university policies in admitting students.
Evaluates transfer credit applicability on a course-by-course basis.
Determines international applicant eligibility.
Provides information to Outlier Enrollment Team regarding evaluations, admission and transfer credit procedures, registration policies, and general academic policies.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about individuals through records, tests, interviews, and professional sources, to appraise needs for educational planning.
Researches and resolves issues or refers students to appropriate department or individual.
Provides case management leadership to move student from application to admission.
Refers students with academic discrepancies to proper department heads for further action.
Administers and coordinates academic petitions, approves registration, and/or provides registration holds.
Performs data entry in Ellucian Recruit CRM and Ellucian Colleague.
Generates correspondence and documentation in Recruit CRM.
Performs related duties such as advising and informing other university faculty and staff on admissions procedures and policies.
Assists with recruitment and outreach activities including admissions events and admissions webinars for prospective students.
Provides reporting and data on Outlier applications and admits.
Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

Ability to work on campus in San Francisco, CA.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of professional experience in admissions, academic advising or transfer articulation is preferred.
