The
Administrative Assistant shall provide research activity support services to include Administrative Support for USAISR, Directorate of Dental and Trauma Research
Responsibilities:
Provide Administrative support services.
Provide customer service to all stakeholders (Director of the Dental and Craniofacial Trauma Research Directorate; Director of Science; Command Team of USAISR; corporate partners and external scientific collaborators; Tri-Service dental research groups and all assigned personnel).
Manage the day-to-day administrative operations for the Dental and Craniofacial Trauma Research Directorate (DCTRD).
Assist Director of the Dental and Craniofacial Trauma Research in creating and maintaining a Culture of Trust and Respect, by displaying Honor and Integrity at all times.
Manage and maintain calendars and schedules of the DCTRD and Director of Science.
Maintain and produce a weekly log of all documents signed by the Director of the DCTRD.
Prepare all travel arrangement for the DCTRD and staff.
Manage and maintain calendars of the Director of the DCTRD.
Greet all visitors of the directorate and assist with in-processing personnel, once approved for access.
Distribute appropriately incoming memos, submissions and reports.
Assist in maintaining fiscal responsibility and accountability, with preparing invoices, reports, memo, letters, financial statements and other documents using word processors, spreadsheets or Resource Management System database.
Organize and maintain files and records and sort/distribute incoming correspondence.
File and retrieve documents, records and reports.
Prepare responses to correspondence.
Comply with all Department of Defense, U.S. Army, USAISR, and other governmental regulatory requirements with special emphasis on safety and security.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year Research protocol experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient Typing skills.
Computer skills, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Word Expertise
Fluent in the English language both oral and written.
